Cancellation Policy
DESIGN POLICY * In the event of insufficient occlusal clearance or overall space, restorations will be designed to meet minimum thickness requirements, unless requested otherwise * Ensure that all dies are seated properly during the scanning process to ensure correct occlusal relations. This is vitally important when scanning bridges. We unfortunately cannot be held liable for faulty restorations due to incorrect scans, if such incorrect scans can be attributed to any circumstances beyond our reasonable control * Ensure that shiny surfaces have been sprayed with a thin layer of scanning spray and that no exposed glue or die hardener was used on the dies as this will compromise the final fit * Ensure that bites/articulations are stable and correct, our designs will be based on the bite relations that we receive in the scan. We will, however, go out of our way to detect incorrect bites and will consequently notify you should we feel that the bite must be re-assessed * Scans that need to be repaired due to severe holes and/or bad mesh/surface noise will be charged a scan clean-up fee * Should unclear double margin lines be present, we will design the restoration to fit the lower of the two margins unless otherwise indicated. Please indicate the preferred route you would like for us to follow should a bridge not have a clear path of insertion * Ensure to include clear instructions on a complex case and to scan in study models or wax-ups that can guide us in providing you with the best possible outcome * In the event that you are unsatisfied with any design, we will gladly redo it to correct mistakes that we may have made, at no cost. Cases that need to be redesigned or adjusted due to incorrect scans, incorrect order creation, distorted impressions, incorrect bite relations, lack of instructions or any incorrect information provided will be assessed on a case to case basis and charged accordingly. BOOKING POLICY * Unscheduled Cases will not be designed * Any units in excess of your booking limit will be charged at our OnDemand Rates * The booking system is accessed by registering as a client on our website * Our daily design slot will consist of a limited number of units for a particular day to ensure we maintain the highest level of quality and consistency. There will be a cut off time of 09h00 (CAT/ South African time) for a particular day’s bookings for us to plan our day accordingly * Scans must be uploaded before 09h00 (CAT/ South African time) for us to commence with the day’s bookings * Turnaround times will be based on a first uploaded, first designed basis and the custom time agreed upon to meet the client’s specific workflow/ time-zone * There is a daily maximum limit of up to 28 units per client on the booking system. This limit allows us to make a provision for our other clients to place their bookings and will avoid one client booking out all the available time slots * It is advisable and requested that Full Mouth Rehabilitations are uploaded a day before the booking slot, if at all possible. This will allow enough time for planning and case discussion before commencing with the design. OUTCAD OnDemand * OnDemand designs are charged at 1.5 times the normal rate * OnDemand designs refer to cases that require an instant turnaround time (rush cases), units in excess of your daily booking limit, cases that need to be rescheduled or designed because it was not uploaded or due to lack of or incorrect instructions and therefore need to be designed outside of normal office hours * OnDemand designs are subject to a Designer being available * OnDemand cases can be requested in the OUTCAD OnDemand booking section or via email/ WhatsApp. IMMEDIATE LOADING * Due to the nature of Immediate loading cases an exception may be made in terms of the upload times for Immediate loading cases only * Immediate loading cases can be booked in the normal crown & bridge / All on X section but needs to be sent by latest 12h00 (CAT/ South African time) for it to be designed the same day * Any cases received after 12h00 (CAT/ South African time) will be charged at the OUTCAD OnDemand fee * When scans are expected to be uploaded after 12h00 (CAT/ South African time) the case needs to be requested in the OUTCAD OnDemand booking section or via email/ WhatsApp for after-hours designing or booked for the following day for standard rates * OUTCAD OnDemand turnaround times will be communicated with the client based on the case * Ensure surgery time is included, expected duration of surgery and when the design is required in order for the case to be prioritised in our Booking System. CANCELLATION POLICY * In the event that you want to cancel a case it should be done online at least 4 hours before the start time 09h00 (CAT/ South African time) on the date of the booking to avoid being charged a 50% cancellation fee and to allow for other clients to book. Cases can be cancelled or rescheduled under the "My bookings" section * Cases that are cancelled or not sent after the start time of the booking will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee to make up for the time that was blocked out for such cases * Any bookings made in the incorrect booking section will be cancelled. TERMS & CONDITIONS * Outcad Inc. provides professional design services and dental prosthetics in various CAD systems (collectively, the "Design Services") and manufactured dental prostheses * Limitation of Liability - You understand and agree that Outcad Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential claims, losses, costs or damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, revenues and or goodwill resulting from any circumstances beyond Outcad Inc.’s reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law you agree that Outcad Inc. will not be liable for any interruptions, non-delivery, destruction or other modification, and any events beyond Outcad Inc.’ s reasonable control * Severability - In the event that any provision of this Agreement/ Online Booking is unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not affect the other provisions of this Agreement / Online Booking and shall be construed as if such unenforceable or invalid provision had never been contained herein * Notices - The Parties hereby choose their contact details and addresses as in set out in this Agreement/ Online Booking for the purposes of issuing any notices * Entire Agreement - The Client agrees that this Agreement/ Online Booking including any documents incorporated herein by reference, constitutes the entire complete and exclusive Agreement/ Online Booking between the client and Outcad Inc. regarding the dental design and manufacturing services and supersedes all prior agreements/ online bookings and understandings, whether written or oral, or whether established by custom, practice, policy or precedent, with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement/ Online Booking. Except as set forth otherwise in this Agreement/ Online Booking, this Agreement/ Online Booking cannot be modified or amended except in writing executed by both parties that specifically references this Agreement/ Online Booking and states that it is to amend the Agreement/ Online Booking * No informal waivers, agreements or representations - Our failure to act with respect to a breach of this Agreement/ Online Booking by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to that breach or subsequent similar or other breaches. No representations, statements, consents, waivers or other acts or omissions by Outcad Inc. shall be deemed legally binding on Outcad Inc., unless documented in writing and signed by a duly appointed officer of Outcad Inc * Use Restrictions and Intellectual Property - The Outcad Inc. website may contain proprietary and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed. Any unauthorised use of any Outcad Inc. content contained on the Outcad Website may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity and communications regulations and statutes. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content in whole or in part. Outcad Inc. content may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of Outcad Inc. You may not frame or utilise framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of Outcad Inc. without our express written consent. You may not misuse Outcad Inc. content. You may use Outcad Inc. content only as permitted by law * Information - The Client is responsible for providing Outcad Inc. with all information, including digital scans & design instructions as is necessary for Outcad Inc. to complete all Professional Services, including the design of such dental prosthetics. Outcad Inc. is not responsible for the accuracy or inaccuracy of any information received from the Client and its Users and transmitted to the laboratory, manufacturer or clinician (including if transmitted via the Outcad Website). Outcad Inc. shall complete all dental prosthetics and any other Professional Services from the information that the Client and its Users provide. The Client shall be solely responsible for the final quality control of both the design and manufactured dental prosthetics upon completion * Client Responsibility for Finished Designs, Images and Products; The Client is explicitly not permitted to: 1) Reverse engineer, decompile, decrypt, disassemble, modify, adapt or extract Outcad Inc. designs/design libraries or workflows in whole or in part, except for the use specified in the online booking/file. 2) Reuse, export, sell or distribute any Outcad Inc. designs/ design libraries or workflows in whole or in part to any third party without the explicit written permission of Outcad Inc. * Disclaimer of Warranties as to Professional Services - The Client is fully responsible for all Client Data provided to Outcad Inc.as well as for all finished designs, images or other information provided which Outcad Inc. will provide to the Client and/or laboratory/(ties), manufacturers or clinicians of the dental products. Outcad Inc. makes no representations to the Client or any third party/(ties) regarding the accuracy of any information provided to Outcad Inc, nor does Outcad Inc. make any representation as to the dental products produced from it, unless the incorrect production of such dental products can be attributed to any circumstances within Outcad Inc.'s reasonable control * Indemnification - The Client agrees to indemnify, defend or to hold Outcad Inc. harmless against any claims, causes of action and/or damages to any third party/(ties) resulting from or arising out of the use of Outcad Inc. services or from any defect in any dental product manufactured or produced by any laboratory, manufacturer or clinician, if such claim, cause of action or damages can be attributed to any circumstances beyond Outcad Inc.'s reasonable control * Right of Refusal - Outcad Inc. reserves the right to reject any cases booked if they are not in agreement with the design instructions received with the booking or the requested treatment plan received from the Client.
